Get Over Jet Lag

Travellers will be all to aware of the disorientating effects of jet lag. By travelling across time zones, and experiencing day light and night time at times of day when your body's natural clock isn't expecting them, you can throw yourself off kilter. This physio-logical effect can takes to recover from, which means you are not at 100% just when you might need to be.

Symptoms of jet lag include nausea, appetite and digestive problems, fatigue, grogginess and irritability.

There's no easy fix for jet lag, as those affected can react differently to various techniques. Drinking plenty of water and avoiding caffine are good tips, but most common perhaps is the advice to expose yourself to as much as sunlight as possible. I've even seen it suggested getting sunlight on the back of the knee can help, although it sounds slight eccentric.
